The garden, located at Welshpool Fire Station, will be opened on Thursday, February 12.
The project began in June 2025 and has been a joint effort between Welshpool firefighters, Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service’s (MAWWFRS) Sustainability Manager, the Welsh Government’s Local Places for Nature programme, and Keep Wales Tidy.
Support and guidance were also provided by Keep Wales Tidy.
The garden is designed to be fully accessible and includes raised beds, benches, and a greenhouse.
A coffee morning will be held at Welshpool Fire Station between 10am and 1pm on the day of the opening, with members of the public invited to attend.
