Perrywood Tiptree is thrilled to have been named one of the best places to go in the Garden Centre Association’s Top 100 league table.
The garden centre was placed second in the national awards, making the attraction one of ten ‘Garden Centres of Excellence’ in the UK.
Perrywood Tiptree also ranked first place for Best Plant Area and in the Ian Boardman Award for Best Indoor Plants Retailer.
It also received second place in the Indoor Lifestyle Award – Best Indoor Lifestyle Retailer.
Plus it placed third in the GIMA Award for Best Garden Products Retailer and the Paul Cooling Award for Environment and Sustainability.
All of these awards were given as part of the Destination Garden Centre categories.
Simon Bourne, director of the garden centre, said: “This achievement reflects the dedication of our wonderful team.
“Our two plant awards show how we are leading the industry with our ranges, standards and creativity, helping us achieve our vision to get more plants in people’s lives.
“To be in the top three garden centres in the UK for the second year in a row is an incredible achievement.
“We have more to offer in 2026 and can’t wait to share some unmissable seasonal moments with our customers.”
The Garden Centre Association carries out unannounced inspections of all its members and uses these tests to compile the league table.
Scores are based on customer service, merchandising, sustainability, creativity, innovation, quality, range of products, and much more.
Perrywood Sudbury placed 16th in the UK League Table and is a ‘Highly Commended’ garden centre.
Perrywood Buckhatch is also now a Garden Centre Association member and will have its first inspection in spring.
