I have this wall of pothos for many years and then adopted a cat. The cat had no interest in it for over a year, but out of the blue it’s the only thing on his mind. He ate some leaves and I’m concerned for his health. So I’m thinking I need to get rid of the pothos. What do you think I could get? 🥲 can’t have nice things with this cat.

Trim them! Or put a gate or something in front of the wall
Get rid of the 🐈….
Yes, trimming or get the wall mount clips for vines and run them along the top of the wall ans ceiling.

Goodluck!
Get your cat grass and catnip to chew on instead of the plants. Pothos are bad for them. Monitor your pet for vomiting and any other unusual behaviors. If it gets to severe head to the vet. My vet told me to give my cat a Itty bitty tiny portion of pepcid (only a quarter of the pill and she immediately brought up the ribbon she ate.
Hope your cat is well!
Goodluck!
The good news is while they are labeled toxic, they are not deadly. I’m really surprised your cat wanted to take more than a bite, because the leaves don’t taste good and they usually learn their lesson real fast.
There’s a couple of things you can do, and the easiest is just maybe trim the vines so they are above your cat’s reach.
I suppose you could also try spraying the leaves with some sort of bitter spray. I don’t imagine it would hurt the plants, and obviously it would taste terrible and make them a much less desirable target.
But another thing you can try is get some cat friendly plants to distract it instead. You can do things like catnip and cat grass, but a lot of people like to get sacrificial spider plants. Cats love them because they’re fun to play with, and also they’re a mild cat psychedelic lol
Maybe growing some cat grass could help .. ? 🪴✨
