What do I do now? Am I supposed to just keep growing them in this? Or move to a potted plant container?

I would move them to mason jars with krakty soon to keep the roots separate or some kind of self watering planter. The sooner you can do it the better, when the roots get too far along in water only, it’ll be more difficult to switch to soil medium.

You could also keep it in the garden, just that they’ll compete against each other and the light really isn’t tall enough for the plants to get much bigger.

Although the countertop all-in-one hydroponic garden markets simplicity and efficiency, growing plants need far more space than they can accommodate. I’ve successfully transplanted hydroponic tomatoes, lettuce, peppers and herbs into soil and they do just fine. Grab some 3 or 4 inch peat pots from your local nursery or hardware store, a bag of some quality potting soil and transplant them so they can extend their root system and strengthen their stems. Then if you are able to plant them outside down the road, you can remove the bottom of the peat pot and pop them in the ground. If you don’t have outside space, you can also move them into larger containers for a patio garden.

Have fun and you’re off to a great start!
