  1. Sweet Jess, my friend, just what I needed today. To hear your voice and giggle and see your smile and goodness in your seed boxes. I've been missing my beautiful garden the past few years! New seasons, and now a New season again! Now that I'm alone after losing all my animals and my Mom being in my care last March, times change. Getting myself away from the major commitment of keeping my garden up, so I can travel for my Photography passion & business, health & wellness ventures and visiting family. I have so many seeds that I may be planting again someday, but not now. It warms my heart to have you share yours with me and all who love you as well, thru this comforting time together!
Thank you with Love and Blessings
    Deb

  2. Thank you for sharing! I have quite a few that I will be adding to my list.๐Ÿคฃ I totally feel ya about having friends be on the same pageโ€geekโ€ level. Sharing our love for stewarding the land is a joy like no other.

  4. Eeeee! This is just what I was WAITING so patiently for!!!๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿคญ
Thank you, thank you, thank you! ๐Ÿ˜Š

  5. Iโ€™ve been in a mood. I thought about just throwing wildflower seeds into the garden and let them go. Was not in the mindset to do all the things. Your contagious enthusiasm has me rethinking. I appreciate you!

  6. Wait hold on! I need to grab a cup of tea and a cozy throw and snuggle in for this!
Okay, there, Iโ€™m ready! Letโ€™s go Jess! โค

  7. I love the seed unboxing! โค๏ธThank you! I roast my radishes and make a big bowl of potatoe salad without the potatoes!

  8. I'm in SW Ontario Canada, cucamelons are a snacking in the garden thing for me too. Mine came back prolifically for 2 years, then none volunteered last year, and I missed them! I like to grow them on the garden fence, to save space. This video made my day!!

  9. Happy Birthday Drew! ๐ŸŽ‚๐ŸŸ๐Ÿฐ๐ŸŽฃ๐Ÿง๐Ÿก๐ŸŽ๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿ

  10. I live in zone 9Bโ€ฆ love pickled beets! I want to plant three types of tomatoes; grape, Roma and slicing tomatoes. Id like strawberries and cucumbers as well. Iโ€™ve been looking online to see what is recommended for my zone. Iโ€™d like a few herbs as well. Wish me luck!

  11. I didn't know that Botanical Interests includes recipes on their seed packets. But then again, I don't think I've ever fully opened one of their packets.

  12. I keep telling myself, don't garden this year. Take it easy. Let your body heal. Let the garden rest. Then I see your seed collection & I'm reminded. I have so many seeds & I'm truly jonesin' to play in the dirt. Maybe just a little.

  13. Best time to purchase seeds is out of season , you can get great deals. I also do seed saving from my own plants . Greetings ๐Ÿ˜Š

  14. 1:01:52 My husbandโ€™s grandma had a depression era cookbook that used squash in a LOT of recipes because they take on the flavor of whatever you put on them/with them.

  15. Jess you have to try kohlrabi slaw, if you like cabbage slaw you'll love kohlrabi slaw. I'm growing kohlrabi inside in small pots under grow lights and have some golf ball size bulbs and will be enjoying a slaw from them in a couple weeks. I'll take them outside when we stop being in the low 20's and teens at night.

  16. It was fun watching you geek out over seeds, Iโ€™m sure most of us do the same! I counted 2 chef kisses. My favorite radish is the white icicle, it does well for me. One of my favorite ways to eat them is as an open faced sandwich, the French call them a tartine. So I take a slice of sourdough or artisan bread, slather it with softened butter cover it with thinly sliced radishes in a single layer and then salt with a flaky sea salt. Chef ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿณ kiss! See you in a few days! ๐Ÿ’•
