I promise I only went to the nursery for coconut coir for seed starting, but they had just gotten a new batch of succulents in and how could I not take this beauty home? Solely labeled as "Echeveria" and with zero farina I'm 99% sure Agavoides, but does anyone have any idea beyond that? Not that it matters, I love her regardless. I also think she might have a single variegated leaf which is amusing.

Poor thing was in "soil" that looked like 100% peat and was sopping wet… You'd think the nursery would know better.

Just a plain old fashioned E.Agavoides.

Most high volume nurseries successfully grow their plants in a peat mix as it’s cheap/easy and it works well. The problem is the substrate breaks down over time and will eventually suffocate the roots of the plant. It’s up to you if/when you want to change the substrate but I would at least wait a couple weeks for it to acclimate to your environment.
