The Tacoma Dome’s annual Tacoma Home + Garden Show is one unofficial sign that longer spring days are around the corner.

At the event, which is happening from Jan. 29-Feb. 1, attendees can expect to get inspired while meandering through massive and elaborate display gardens that make you feel like you’re in someone’s enviable backyard. There will also be model homes to tour and insights for planning your next kitchen and bath renovation.

Due to support from Hunt’s Services, opening-day admission is free.

Creative gardener and author Sue Goetz, who is also a contributing writer at South Sound and its sister publication, West Sound, will take the stage at 2 p.m. on Jan. 29 to speak about designing a garden that engages the senses. On Friday and Saturday, she’ll speak at 3 p.m. about herbs.

Make sure to stop by our parent company Premier Media Group’s booth to say hello and learn more about South Sound and sister pubs West Sound, 425, and others, plus all the other ways PMG is connecting with the Northwest.
