Great video. Really enjoyed watching
Love what you did with such a small space. I grew up in Separation St in the 70's with the Quarry out the back laneways, Grand parents around the corner in Andrew St. Love the history you included. Have shared to family as well!!!
Massive compliment on the video, really like the history, even though I am from Sydney. part historian, part landscape professional, I can see the passion that you have through the video.
Great video, enjoyed the history and context of the area related to the garden. Nice garden design and end result with the uncovered bluestone.
Great video thanks! Very clear instructions.
Love the full garden transformation videos. Any suggestions on good nurseries around Melbourne for non trades people?
Happy new year mate let’s hope 26 is a fantastic year for you and your family and let’s hope all those who lost their lives on the beach rest in peace. Keep sending us them fantastic videos. And here’s to 26. Cheers.
I loved watching you lay the bricks and plantings. The hows and whys were great. The extra history on your area was very interesting. Everything turned out lovely.
Lovely spaces. The brick flooring is stunning. Are you a trained landscape designer?
How do I contact you… google sends me to Werribee mansion…
I know your the right person for my job…
Please help me…
The universe has connected us… for a reason
I just subscribed to your channel after watching this video. I loved how you included information of a long ago flood and how it impacted the community. I live in Florida zone 10a and I am always appreciative of how other landscapers (I am not, just a DIYer) have such wonderful suggestions with planting. Thank you for this!
I wish I knew you 4 years ago. We bought a house in a new estate. We were going out of the country for a few months and we got a landscaper who was doing a lot of work in the area. The houses are big on these blocks and the walking area small. Because we are retirees we wanted low maintenance and because we were out of the country for long periods, no grass. I met with him, told him what I wanted. He quoted, we accepted and off we went. In good faith we paid him, which was our biggest mistake. Even though we were watching on the cameras, he just did his thing. I was on the phone with them so many times. When we returned it was a different story. His work was of good quality, I can’t complain, but it wasn’t what I wanted. He put bricked borders where I was going to do a zen garden. He did straight lines where I wanted curves. He didn’t take our calls and we never saw him again. It took us a long while to actually do it ourselves, especially at our age and our budget.
Very enjoyable video thanks. Nice to see some thoughtful ideas and craftsmanship in action..well done 👍😊
Wow, what a transformation! It certainly has made the area beautiful and coming home very pleasant. A lot of work too, especially for a small space. Much worth the effort. A good encouraging reminder. Keep up your good work 🎉
Your poor back is going to break…can’t you use little backhoes to move dirt and material in and out? Your work is GORGEOUS! Thankyou for sharing with us…I just LOVE your accent. Hugs carolyn from Columbus Georgia. Oh baby…do I need to get you some nice gloves????
lovely work
So beautiful. This is one of the best You Tube channels I've ever watched.
Amazing design and workmanship. Enjoyed how you tied in history of the area and materials used. Watching from Ontario Canada 🇨🇦 Looking forward to watching more of your videos.
New subscriber here! Great video! You have put a lot of time and thought into the camera position and editing, not,to mention the actual landscaping. Can’t wait to check out your other work. Thanks!
Hi there, love your channel which I just found today, East St Kilda…
Wow! Love this vid. really appreciated the approach you took to honouring the legacy and history of the area. And as a fellow Australian, love hearing the Aussie accent!!
It’s such a good reminder that you don’t need a huge space to do phenomenal things.
Subscribed, and I’ll be sharing this vid with others. Love your landscapong wirk, as well as content capturing! and looking forward to watching more of your content!
great work! what a beautiful project.
Your videos are eye candy for me. Delicious and beautiful!
Loved the video and the information you provided felt like I was learning at school again. I can tell you want to give out the right information so the person copying you can do the right thing, ensuring everything is done the way it's supposed to be. One question though, how much did this garden cost to do? Including the materials and everything.
❤❤❤❤
Injecting history lessons into the Timelapse b roll is genius. Such a great watch
In the states, we call it decomposed granite.😅
Great video, I was pretty jacked to learn about that wee makita cordless saw, very cool like that alot.
It’s sacrilege to call a Ute a ‘truck’
Great video. I’m a bit concerned about the exterior powerpoint near the deck. Missing/damaged conduit, exposing the cable. I’d suggest the own gets an electrician to fix it.
Great video. If you put that granetic sand around a tree would it let water through to the tree roots?
Love the video, thanks for sharing. Where did you pick up the plants? I don't recognise the garden center. Thanks!
The soil under the grass looks healthy. Was it not worth saving and reusing?
An Aussie, living in Salt Spring Island, British Columbia, whose uncle lived in Northcote…..homesick for sure, Your whole video was amazing revealing your aesthetics and knowledge. I immediately thought how I would love to bring you here to Salt Spring in your winter to finish my creation, (house and landscape), as my age is against me now., building my own hone with an Aussie carpenter…trouble is you would no doubt be overwhelmed with others needing your expertise…. my home is special, another Aussie came to look one day, a carpenter, he was totally amazed at what we had built..that is the problem I want to realize all I have planned, much of the bone work is done, enclosed stone courtyard, sunken boulder surrounded shade area, stobne terrace, pond for the wildlife, and vegie garden
Oh wow I stumbled on your channel. This gardens transformation was spectacular!
WOW such a small space but great impact 🤩
Beautiful work! It may also be nice to use bluestone as a border on all sides rather than just the two.
I really enjoyed this, even while recovering from a ruptured quad tendon and feeling pretty useless. It was great to live vicariously through watching you tackle such an impressive project. I also enjoyed the history of the area, which I vaguely recall. I grew up in Northcote back in the 80s, which was probably a very different era from what it's become today.
Turned out beautiful. Glad you found the bluestone and reused them. What a difference they made and the differences in the old brick colors were beautiful. ❤
Don’t pre-write your voiceover. It robs you of any personality. You sound like a robot.
I’m sure it would’ve much better if you just winged it.
Genuinely providing constructive criticism. 😊
your skills and work abilities are amazing
I'm thinking that these daffodils will look like the old movie Doctor Charivarigo sorry about spelling l am so excited to see it all
Hello from the States. Great transformation. It looks great. How long did it take you to do the job?
