it looks gross right now because i’ve been struggling to even look at the tank without thinking about my betta being gone. but i’m starting to feel better and i want to turn this tank into something beautiful. there are small holes in the back so i dont know if i could put bugs or even a spider in there… it is a 5 gallon tank. i would love to have some pretty plants and wood pieces. i dont know much about terrariums or vivariums or any of the ariums!! any help is very much appreciated!

Probably better off getting a proper tank for its purpose since I’d think ventilation could be an issue but I’ve never tried it myself
any tank can be made into one but your probably going to have to make alot of custom modifications to properly differentiate substrate and water drainage layers and at this point get a bigger tank so you have more to work with
