    I see so much discussion of hydrangeas online but I don’t see many in my area of 9b Houston—we obviously get very hot and very humid. I see hydrangeas with descriptions that include zone 9 and even full sun. But I remain very skeptical. So many “zone 9” plants I’ve spent money on can’t handle my zone 9. Are there really varieties of hydrangeas I can grow here in my garden that gets 6 hours of sun?

  3. Hmm Bar Harbor, a new hydrangea, that is native to the entire east coast from New York to Florida, but not New England? Funny because Bar Harbor is actually in Maine.

  4. Are there any pet safe evergreen shrubs? Boxwoods and hollies are toxic to dogs… Looking for pet friendly shrubs we can suggest to owners and use personally.
