MISSOUAL, Mont – The Montana Lady Griz returned to their home court after a month, facing the Idaho Vandals in a Big Sky Conference matchup. The Lady Griz were looking to bounce back after losing their first two Big Sky games, while the Vandals entered with a win in their first conference game.

The game started close, with Montana showing strength from beyond the arc. Draya Wacker connected with Jocelyn Land for a significant three-pointer.

The Vandals maintained their momentum with Mary McMorris driving and passing to Kyra Gardner, who hit a three-pointer. Gardner led the game with 28 points.

Gardner also excelled in playmaking, delivering a perfect up-court pass to Deborah Dos Santos for an easy layup, helping Idaho gain a substantial lead.

Hope Hassmann added to the Lady Griz’s efforts with a skillful drive and finish, contributing 12 points to the game.

Ultimately, behind Gardner’s impressive 28 points and 11 rebounds, the Vandals secured a 67-50 victory.
