Flip it over and look for the PP or triangle mark on the bottom. What is the number on that mark? Do you know the capacity? Would it be for edible plants or just decorative? Hold off on making the drainage holes, you might be better off finding a pot that fits it and use this one as the sub-irrigation reservoir if it’s on the smaller side.
