It’s wet and gray and I’ve been looking at photos from last summer to tide me over. I started in 2020.

8-10 are early spring 2025. I’ve been adding more spring blooms the last 2 years and it’s starting to pay off

What is the plant with the yellow flowers on side 6? Shrubby St Johns Wort?

Beautiful.  This is goals for me, also in 6b.

I can’t wait until mine fills out like this! 2025 was my first year and I started with a *ton* of starter plugs. Most didn’t seem like they did much, but some flowered (I had blooms on my tiny sweet Joe Pye). I know the first year is mostly root development, so I’m excited to see what this year brings. 🤞🏻🤞🏻

  4. This is so gorgeous!! I love the little hardscaping touches like the black gate and bird bath. They really add a beautiful contrast to all the plants.

I added a ton of spring ephemerals this Fall as well, super excited to see them pop up in a few months!

Beautiful!! I will say I was immediately like HOW (?!!??!!) does a 6b garden look like this in January — tell me your secrets!!! But the caption cleared up my confusion 🤣

So inspiring! Do you stake your plants at all? How much of this is intentional planting vs natural year over year spread!

I absolutely love it. 😍 Once we’ve completed invasive removal and fenced off a portion of our property from deer I can’t wait to go native!!
