Your store knows how to move plants before they die and get thrown away. At all the Lowes in the Pittsburgh area they let the plants die and then put them on clearance once there is little to no chance of recovery. This year they’ve even tried cutting plants back to remove dead branches and foliage to try and sell sad shrubs at full price. Still no clearance or sales on shrubs or perennials here in October. I guess the plan is to try to move product when ground is frozen or just throw it all away.
I have a huge row of those sedum on the south side of my house, which started with just a few plants. I kept splitting them every year, and they transplant beautifully. I don't think I watered them at all this year despite weeks of blistering heat. I highly recommend!
I have to pick up my car at the garage today when Dan picked me up and tomorrow we are going to Vermont for a week, but if I m not here you can leave it in my garage at my house, or any time you have time it doesn't matter if I m not here

Hi Steph. As I've told you before we don't have Lowe's on the Cape but still find your tours informative! I have 3 varieties of ninebarks and love them! Recently planted 2 boxwoods and 2 candy corn spirea. Wish I had room for more things but running out of room!

Your Lowe’s has a great selection. The one near me has mums and pumpkins. I’m shocked because last year they had a great selection.
