El Toro Zoysia Lawn Turning Brown – How to Fix? (Honolulu,Hawaii)

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for advice on how to restore a client’s lawn. The grass is El Toro Zoysia, and it has been brown for about 2 months. The client would like to make it green and healthy again.

Does this look like a nutrient deficiency, watering issue, or a possible disease? What fertilizer or treatment would you recommend for El Toro Zoysia?

For reference, we’re located in Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi.
