Bought this Jose Puig tradescantia. It’s looking a little leggy. Can I prune and prop the blooming stems? Or should I not get my hopes up for a new batch of Jose-babies just yet?

Tradescantia are the easiest plant to prop & they need to be chopped when they get this leggy. Chop & stick in soil. They’ll root super quickly

  2. You can literally just chop this plant up and throw it in the garbage and it will crawl out and take over your house.

For other harder to prop plants it’s advised to cut the flowers off before propping. With Trad, you just chop and dirt.
