Harvesting from the garden for a cozy Christmas dinner for two 🎄🥬

Tonight turned into a mini steakhouse dinner at home, featuring lamb chops, steak, herby mashed potatoes, and sautéed Nancy Malone wheat purple collards—all finished with a fresh garden-made chimichurri ✨

The collards sautéed down beautifully (this variety cooks much faster than traditional collards, so you can prepare it just like kale 👌🏾). I used parsley and arugula straight from the garden to make the chimichurri, and whew… it took everything to the next level.

There is truly nothing like harvesting your dinner from the garden. When your food starts in the soil, the gratitude runs deep 🌱💚

And if it’s snowing where you are, Garden Bestie, that just means spring planning season is officially here. This is the perfect time to dream, plan, and prep for your next garden, and I’m here to help.
