Decided to make my own poles. Backing is a flexible cutting board, 11×17 in.(cut to 5.5 x17 in.). Very sturdy plastic and easy to punch holes through. To extend, I'll cut the top two twist ties, slide another pole in until the two holes line up, and then put twist ties through the two holes and the wire mesh. There was some trial and error with where to place the holes, but I figured it out. I had been using the clear plastic ones with tabs. Once you put the tabs in it's hard to take them out. I like that I can remove the back of this easily. The others I had been using were 17 in. tall as well. I like this height because I never end up with a lot of moss above the plant.
