A long-serving volunteer has been thanked for his dedication to creating a festive garden at Newark Hospital.
Lee Ogden has been responsible for transforming the hospital’s garden into a Christmas display for the past 20 years, turning it into a welcoming festive space for patients, visitors and staff.
This year’s display once again marked the festive period at the hospital, continuing a tradition that has become a familiar feature each Christmas.

To recognise his long-standing commitment, Lee was presented with a small gift by Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Trust.
The presentation was made by Sally Brook-Shanahan, the trust’s director of corporate affairs, as a gesture of thanks for his hard work over the years.

The trust also paid tribute to the League of Friends, who funded the decorations used in this year’s display, helping to ensure the garden could be decorated for the festive season.
