I cut the top off from my very neglected aloe vera and it has calloused for 7 days now.
My question is if I can place it on soil now or if I should wait some more?

still looks pretty wet to me, If I were you I would take off the bottom two leaves, as it likes to make roots out of the sides not the bottom, and let it dry out more

Nah set it and forget it baby. Stick it in some dry media (like fifty fifty peat perlite), put it under lights, and don’t look at it for 2-3 months.

It’s a succ she’ll be fine if left alone with mindful negligence

Taking off the bottom leaves will also help the stem to make roots. You can use the leaves for skincare or something

Can we get a picture of the entire plamt?
