I’ve had this gasteria for about 3 years now and it has been going strong.
I water about once a month, or whenever it feels really dry in the soil.
It is right next to a big South West facing window.

My hubby dropped the plant a few weeks ago and the plant became immediately lopsided. I thought this was because some soil was dislodged.

Recently I noticed that the bottom leaves have a dent on each of them. I’m not sure if it’s due to the fall or there’s another issue going on.

Should I leave it as is and accept that it will be lopsided forever? Or is there something else I can do? Should I cut off those dented bottom leaves?

Now drop your hubby on his head and see if he acts weird. Observe and report back 😂

These plants are hardy and can handle worse. Their real enemy is overwatering/rootrot.

Give the plant a few days to get comfy, if you want to remove the damaged leaves then it would be purely cosmetic. If they’re badly damaged, then the plant will pull nutrients out of them and they’ll shrivel off.

For the crookedness…… you’ll have to start rotating but it’ll always have the slightest curve
