At some point it will be the oldest wip or I'll be dead πππ no formal plans for me as I'm a hardcore swiwwiw stitcher! 4-5 of my 18 wips could/should be finishes so yay for that!
π
I envy anyone who can make solid plans and stick to them when I set a real goal I almost immediately don't want to work on that project anymore. πποΈ
π
Girl! I died! I knew Lazy Bear Mountain was big but loooordy! I love the WIP bag idea. My kiddo just asked if he could pick bags again π₯Ήβ€. Really hoping the glasses help and canβt wait to see what happens next!
I love that Goodnight Moon pattern! Itβs so 90s! And I love your categories. Sounds like you have a solid plan. β€οΈ I am thinking of doing a little 2026 plan post on my IG, but I am really excited to do Old Apple Tree by Merejka, which would be my biggest piece yet. Iβm also looking forward to seeing everyoneβs 250 patriotic patterns. I havenβt found one I love yet, but would like to stitch one in 2026. ποΈ
Nobody is watching you "for the train wrack" and nobody is expecting you to follow through on all your goals. We all make plans and don't follow through.
The goal of having goals is to be inspirational, not to follow the list for a whole year.
You had so much on your plate this year, and you made it trough and that's plenty.
We watch your channel because you are interesting, funny, relatable and stitch on cool stuff. We don't sit on the other side with a clipboard and check to see if you lived up to your goals, we are all far to busy worrying about our own abandon lists…

Well I have plans now π I hadnβt seen Jane Wood 1853 before, but it will be my birthday start. Did you create your own Colour & Cotton conversion or did you have them do it? ποΈ
I donβt really make specific project plans but I do plan to focus on using what I have next year! I really have plenty! ποΈ
I plan to not plan, however I would do Anniversaries of the Heart with youποΈ
π
ποΈ Wait, so does this mean youβre not starting the new Long Dog with us?! π€£π€£π€£
π My goals for 2026 is to focus on finishes so I have gamified my WIP list with each project being worth a certain amount points based on total stitches, age, paper chart (annoying) , linen or aida or other, if its a gift ect. And I can only start new things if I get enough points in the point from completing old WIPs. Points equaling the size of the chart I can start as well, like 10,000 stitches being more than a 5,000 stitches pattern. The only free start I get is my birthday start, Flora from the artsy housewife.
π love your plans and just give yourself grace. Stitch what you can when you can and enjoy it! Merry Christmas π
Love the plans! I remember your face lighting up when you mentioned goodnight moon the first time during market. π that would be my pick for full moon SAL
(Also putting number of stitches in a pattern should be legally required)
Bummed about Make it Murder because I love mysteries and have so many ideas but also completely understand the mental load it puts on you.
π This year I wanted to put 2500 stitches in on every wip, which I was able to do. But next year I want to be a little more random on what I pick up & change my stitch goals to time spent stitching
Hi Stephanie! I love your projects and your approach to them. I have the Peever sampler in my collection, too. I was actually married to a Peever at one point in my life. I love the border of honeysuckles on it. I am participating in Wipgo and this year, I hope to actually put some stitches in rather than just write down the numbersπ. Thank you for all that you do for this community. As a viewer I appreciate all the work you put into your videos. I hope your glasses work for you. Take care and have a very Merry Christmas!ππ

Great video. It was good seeing your plans. I am new to the flosstube world and started a channel back in Sept. I just finished a 3 part WIP parade (yes I too have lots of wips – 75). I am planning on doing a 2026 plans video the last week of December. I too am planning on reducing my WIP count in 2026. Good luck with making progress on your wips in 2026. I am new to your channel so I will be sure to subscribe. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

I have been in such a stitching slump, but I am going to do WIPGO and then try and focus on a couple of projects each month. That wonβt make a big dent in my pile but if I can get back to stitching on a regular basis that will help.
i'm starting my first mirabilia in January and aside from that I'm not sure if i have any other big starts planned π maybe a fine cat indeed from maximum cross stitch for my birthday… it's up in the air lmao.
i'm gonna be using wipgo to try and make progress on my wips this year, but i used themes and categories to give myself some loose constraints. looking forward to seeing the progress you make on jane wood <3 ππ
Iβm obsessed with Dana K White!! Represent!! I downsized house this year (not in bedrooms but in storage space), and her container concept has helped me so much with getting rid of things.
Thanks for sharing plans! Your pick a WIP plan sounds reasonable and fun! ποΈ
I love your pick a wip idea and oldest wip. I may use some of that in 2026 as well. Only six years of stitching currently? π LOL! You're fine. Enjoy the new year and any unplanned new starts you may begin!
Stephanie, Please know that you are a truly creative mind. We love to hear you think out loud for your plans. We so appreciate your creativity and need to continue to grow. I smile when I see you have a new floss tube. You are such a joy! Remember we love you!!
