One can down, far too many more to go. 36x18x36 for p. Standingi. Need excavator clay for the walls as well to make it more biotope looking. Though the wood species I’ve used and will be using take away from the biotope idea greatly

I don’t think you shook it enough my friend. You should have gotten more mileage out of a can than that. I think I needed 3 cans for my vivarium that size, but I did plant shelves, 3 sides, anchored a ton of wood, etc. I went heavy and cut back a lot too.
Anyway, may not help this project, but you can find the black expanding pond foam online for about $12-15 if you shop around. Definitely good to save a little when you’re expecting to run through a couple cans on a build.
$25 a can? What the heck are you buying? The great stuff pond foam is like $13 a can
Just get regular expanding foam, it’s safe but just yellow and not black- it’s like $4 a can
