Hey r/SavageGarden,

Sharing some shots of my Nepenthes × trusmadiensis BE clone #1. This one’s a real old-timer. I picked it up from CP Jungle around 2011, back when they were still around. It’s the classic Borneo Exotics tissue culture clone of the natural hybrid (N. lowii × N. macrophylla), and after all these years (about 14 now!), it’s rewarding me with some beautiful pitchers.
That signature funnel shape, raised lid like lowii, and those toothy peristome ribs from macrophylla are really coming through. It’s been a slow grower, but highland conditions have kept it happy.
Setup: Night temps around 55°F, high humidity, bright light. The last couple of years it’s been growing in 100% coconut, fiber, chips.

Anyone else growing an older BE clone #1? How big have your pitchers gotten?
Thanks for looking!
