Both of them were originally "visible from the street specials" from my teens. It was a dark time for me, and these cacti really helped me out. I used to cut my cacti leaving the stump in the ground or in a pot for someone to find if I moved house, so hopefully some troubled teen somewhere did the same and got something out of it. I'm weirdly emotional thinking about the places I've taken these with me over the last 20 years. Hopefully they set seed 🤞
