The obligatory, "Sorry for format I'm on mobile"

Hopefully some of this helps.

I was gifted a Begoina that was left out in a frost but survived and is growing again.

I live in North Dakota.

I was told this plant is beautiful.

The previous owner moved into a smaller place and didn't have room for it and was unsure if she can help it anyways, because and I quote "I usually just throw them away and buy a new one in the spring when I forget them out".

The pot on the right is another one but it has no green at all and most the dead leaves fell off already.

I guess my main question is can I help it survive or is it a total loss?

My second question is how often do I water it, and care for it?

My third is can I save the other one also?

Last question do I clean the dead leaves out of the pot?

Thank you very much in advance. I looked around the sub a little before I joined and these plants do look very beautiful from everyone's pictures I've seen in general.

I am so sorry it's so sad looking😭

The plant currently growing is not a Begonia, I’m afraid – looks like a baby tree or shrub

Begonia do not tolerate frost well, but they can go dormant. I’m not very familiar with tuberous type begonia, but I’d start by looking up how to check if they are dormant, and how to store if so!
