The Ornamented Mutation is a special holiday-themed Mutation in Grow a Garden. This festive Mutation can only be obtained in very specific ways, and you’ll need to harvest Ornamented crops in order to complete Christmas event objectives. Here’s how to unlock the Ornamented Mutation in Grow a Garden.
How to Get Ornamented Mutation
The Ornamented Mutation can be obtained in a few different ways in Grow a Garden. The first is Festive Night weather, which has a chance to apply the Ornamented Mutation to all crops.
Festive Night is rare and there’s no way to trigger it manually, so you’ll just have to get lucky and wait around for it to occur. To boost your chances of getting Ornamented crops during a Festive Night, place Jingle Bells around your garden.
You can also get the Ornamented Mutation with certain holiday pets like the Nutcracker and Red-Nosed Reindeer. The Nutcracker randomly cracks open Nutty crops for random rewards, one of which can be the Ornamented Mutation. The Red-Nosed Reindeer regularly mutates your crops with Ornamented based on the number of regular Reindeer in your garden.
You can get the Nutcracker from Christmas Eggs. To get the Red-Nosed Reindeer, you’ll need to merge eight regular Reindeer pets with the Sleigh item from Santa’s Shop.
The Ornamented Mutation will only be available for a limited time in Grow a Garden, so keep checking for Festive Night weather and hatch as many Christmas Eggs as you can for a chance to get pets that can give the Ornamented Mutation to your crops.
