I have some swiss cheese monstera that im trying to propagate (this is my first time ever propagating) and im wondering when i should pot them in soil, also if anyone knows what type of soil to use please let me know. Some people say to use a chunky soil and some say to use a soil that can hold moisture well.

I’d say they’re ready but if you wanna wait you can, they typically do better the more roots they have. Plant them into a chunky soil mix (I use 50% soil, 30% perlite, 10% vermiculite, and 10% orchid bark, but you can also buy a soil mix if you don’t wanna make one.) water it in after planting and let all the water drain out of the bottom so it’s not sitting in water. Depending on your light and humidity levels, this plant will need watered about once every 1 1/2 – 2 1/2 weeks.
