Call non emergency number? Animal control? Pest control? Something that won’t cause people harm

Seriously here. High powered BB gun at sun set to knock it down. When sun sets and they sleep douse it in wasp killer

To be honest… make a really smoky fire below it to calm them down then call someone with experience to get rid of them Instead of asking people on the Internet who could get you killed

That’s a hornets nest. They are gone for winter and won’t come back to that same nest – i.e., it’s empty. I have two of them in one of my maple trees, I just let them go and they will eventually fall down.

I had a hornet’s nest in my tree in my backyard earlier this year and I didn’t even know it was there until the power company came to take the tree out. I walked through there all the time and never saw a hornet. Hornets are good for pest control so if you don’t actually see a hornet bothering you, then I would just leave it there.

It looks like its winter where you are, so there are no wasps in the nest now. Throw a rock and knock that sucker down

Throw some rocks at that nest and knock it down.

If it’s cold out, the hornets will be inactive or gone.

Is it wasp or possibly squirrels?

Looks like a white face nest. Honestly just leave it alone, it’s too high up to bother anyone and will die off in winter if not already dead.

I had a huge bald-faced hornets’ nest on a dogwood kinda near a neighbor’s house last year. I was putting off taking it down ‘till the really cold weather but then… 4-5 Dark-eyed juncos started attacking it ‘till it was pretty much all gone from the tree and on the ground in chunks. I figured they were prolly after the larvae. Once the juncos were finished pecking out whatever larvae were there, overnight the skunks tore whatever was left into shreds in seeking out the leftovers.

I later took a pitchfork to the few remaining shreds clinging to the tree. What a wonderfully cooperative endeavor! 😸

Have you tried writing up an eviction notice and taking them to court?

Some folks don’t have any rural friends and it shows. 😆
