Hazelnuts (hazelnoten), you can open these with a nutcracker, inside you will find the edible hazelnut. Yes these bushes develop bended branches which can be used for making beautiful Christmas bouquets. I usually chop the branches as these tend to grow long. No need for a tall hazelnut. They produce these hazelnuts every year around the same time
