Santa Clause is accompanied by a friend as they explore Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden.
Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden invites guests to embrace the magic of the holiday season during “A Very Merry Garden,” a month-long celebration taking through Jan. 4, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
General admission includes access to all holiday activities, and members may log in to receive complimentary tickets.
Throughout December, Fairchild transforms into a festive wonderland where families can round up Santa’s reindeer, write heartfelt letters to the North Pole, decorate their own gingerbread treats, and enjoy cherished holiday tales read by Mrs. Claus.
Designed to capture the warmth and joy of the season, “A Very Merry Garden” offers guests of all ages a chance to create lasting holiday memories surrounded by the beauty of the Garden.
The Reindeer Round-Up invites visitors to help Santa locate his missing reindeer, who have escaped into Fairchild’s tropical landscape to play reindeer games beneath the winter sun. Guests are encouraged to search the garden’s pathways to reunite the reindeer with Santa in time for Christmas Eve.
At Santa’s Post Office, located inside The Shop, children can compose and send their official letters to Santa, ensuring their holiday wishes make it straight to the North Pole.
Families can also gather for Storytime with Mrs. Claus, as she shares heartwarming holiday stories over a cup of hot cocoa. This cozy experience celebrates togetherness and the simple joys of the season.
Guests looking to unleash their creativity can stop by the Gingerbread Decorating Station (sold separately). With pre-baked cookies and an array of sweet fixings, visitors of all ages can craft their own delicious holiday masterpieces, a treat that’s as fun to make as it is to eat.
For those seeking a warm holiday indulgence, the Hot Cocoa Bar (sold separately) offers decadent cups of cocoa topped with marshmallows, candy canes, peppermint, and more.
It’s the perfect treat to enjoy while strolling through Fairchild’s lush, festive pathways.
On select dates, visitors also will have the opportunity to meet Santa in the garden. Santa will be making special appearances to hear holiday wishes, take festive photos, and spread cheer throughout Fairchild’s tropical setting.
“A Very Merry Garden” continues Fairchild’s tradition of blending nature, imagination, and community to create immersive experiences that celebrate the season in a uniquely South Florida way.
Fairchild Botanical Garden is located at 10901 Old Cutler Rd. in Coral Gables.
