What should I add in I have a hard time finding well suited plants and insects for a soil that is contanly wet, I am getting some dwarf isopods soon the store will have them this week.
Most paludariums are well planned and use drainage or a false bottom, so that you don’t saturate the soil. Unfortunately wet soil harbors anaerobic bacteria and suffocates many plants. I would recommend a redo to really succeed. Perhaps bog plants would work, but they generally require a lot of light. You’ll likely need brighter lights than the picture shows either way đ
Aquarium plants that grow well on land are for example hydrocotyle & aquatic mosses.
