I paid $45 for her which is a little on the higher end that I wanted to go for this plant cause I've seen them for $30 in the past but this one was perfect, the most perfect. No damage, no browning, beautiful variegation, she taller then she looks too, about three and a half feet tall, and her leaf space is more compact, not leggy at all. There were a lot more with her but they were all damaged, some just fully broken and missing leaves, or extremely low variegation. Like, this one was in so much better condition that you could have mistaken them as two different plants. I even had a lady get my number when she saw me carrying her out to possibly buy or trade a prop off her once she gets bigger. XD I'm so happy I was able to get it and it just sat in the store this whole time!!

Yeah they are everywhere where I live

I double backed for a Thai constellation after a couple of days and was glad I did cuz although they’re everywhere around me, they go pretty quick. I originally didn’t want to spend $30 on a plant and got one with damaged leaves but thats all that was. I think I would’ve gladly paid an extra 15 for that size and the condition!

    Beautiful! Not very common here.

Doing prop with her down the road, to decrease your cost is a great idea. Curious where you are .

Go ahead and prop her if someone is offering. Monsteras will take up so much space and very quickly. It’s a beauty!

Hilarious to see them in the big box stores now knowing people paid thousands for a plant that size just a couple years ago.

Double check for pests though. My Home Depot poinsettias just brought home spider mites.

I saw one at my local Kroger’s months ago about this size. For $40!!! I wrestled with myself so hard. Said to myself “hey I know you want this but be patient.” I went home and all of that patience left my body within two hours. I went back for it and of course it was gone. Still kicking myself

Have these in my home depot for 24.00. I have to walk away crying because I have no place for it to be happy.

I would have begged and pleaded with my family to get it for me and pay them back later.

Always abused plants on the clearance shelf, but when you bring them to their glory, it is always so worth it.

Please be careful. I see this was placed in front of shelves of the deadly poison called “Round Up.” If they have used Round up on this plant if you have pets, small children or a lack of ventilation, you may want to reconsider your purchase. Good luck!

Can’t find these anywhere in my state, unless their from small private plant stores which for the size you have it’ll cost a few hundred.
