My local Lowe’s rarely has any decent succulents or plants. I go there on my lunch break occasionally to check things out, pluck dead leaves and take care of the neglected plants. It makes me happy.
Today I found three lonely Haworthia cuspidata plants. This one was in decent shape and has this white variegated spot that I adore. Decided to rescue it from its certain doom, and got it a nice new planter. Its roots look surprisingly fantastic but the poor thing is screaming for water. Can’t wait to repot it later.
Is this a variegated version? Or is this common for this species. I don’t have one of these but Google shows some variegated versions that are more speckled rather than purely white like this little pup.

Do the yellow leaves feel softer/mushy? I’m not sure if it’s variegation or rot or damage from their poor conditions at the Lowe’s. So glad you got them when you did and saved them!
Had a rescue from the same brand (I think) that also threw a bunch of variegated pups. Once they start…
twinsies!! i got one of these at hd back in september :3 i saw someone else post about getting one a while back and ig these all just have super light variegation on the main plant and a few more heavily variegated pups. which ig is maybe why they dont label them as variegated?
