Got this plant mid summer. It looked like half of it had been damaged somehow. This plant did not have variegated leaves. The new leaves are coming in all splotchy yellow and I feel like they haven’t gotten any bigger, just more numerous. I haven’t had a violet for a while but I wasn’t sure if this one is sick or needs a repot or something. I haven’t fertilized with a specific fertilizer but I water with water rich in nitrates (fish tank water).

What’s the lighting like? It almost looks like bleaching and compact growth from excessive light.

It’s mites. Tough to fight.
