The Coastal Garden Club’s December meeting will kick off with club member Karen Santoro leading a program making Holiday floral arrangements for the Autumn Care of Shallotte nursing and assisted living facility. For this annual event, attendees should bring clippers and greens from your yard and join the club as it makes centerpiece arrangements to spread the joy of the season.
Following the regular meeting program, the club will enjoy a holiday potluck luncheon and Jingle Bell Bazaar, offering last minute gift items to be raffled or sold to the highest bidder in the club’s live auction.
The meeting will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 15, in the Shallotte Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall, located at 5070 Main St. in Shallotte.
Everyone with an interest in floral design, gardening and community service is invited to attend.
