I used to have this cute plant 5 years ago, the first pic is when I first got it and the second is when it started growing flowers. Someone gave it to me and I never knew what it was called. Suddenly thought about it today, I really wanna know

It looks like an African Violet.
A gesneriad of some sort. Someone should be able to get more specific for you.

Maybe False African Violet, Stethocarptus saxorum, but i am not convinced . Could just be its a young plant, and/or I am thinking of a different Violet.
