You didn’t know that you opened up a bird spa? Lol 😆

is the bird bath a product you purchased or something you made?

Oh my goodness, this post just gave me such a great idea – thank you for sharing your garden and beautiful avian visitor, OP!!
I have a large community garden plot (~2,700 sq ft) that I’ve incorporated some native and drought tolerant plantings into (cause pollinators = more fruit and veg, and birds = pest control). I have a freestanding bird bath and some bee bowls, but I don’t always make it out to the garden often enough to keep them full. In our hot summer temps they dry up pretty fast.
I don’t have power out there but I could toooootally implement some large cascading bowls like this and set them up along one of my irrigation lines/with a bubbler to fill up & flush out every day! And then just plant some more water-loving things around the bottom to suck up the overflow, or channel it into some existing cross-ditches.
I can’t believe I hadn’t thought of this before!

This is the most relaxed murder bird I’ve ever seen.
I put 5 or 6 bird baths around the property and it is a delight to see them all used regularly but i have never seen them used by hawks!
The garden life!
Did you purchase the bird bath, or is it DIY?
