I'm not trying to be all doom and gloom but if Americans aren't careful we all will be together in a famine boat. So any place I can make a dollar stretch to produce more food, I'm all about that shit! Being proactive has been a journey and Discernment has definitely been a tool in my garden. This AI crap just constantly says lies and would have us all planting a seedless orange to grow a citrus tree. Thanks Kim for trying to help people safely cut corners to get more from less.
Fruit flies are beneficial as food for humming birds. I put half of oranges or grapefruit for this.
Maybe it’s my location but $34/bag is not affordable. I’d love to try this if I can buy for a reasonable price.
When it comes to compost, I always thought the container needed air holes. I stopped using mine when they attracted rats. If I’d known I could’ve left the containers intact, that would’ve been much less of a headache. Thank you
I'm ona budget! Aren't the Scarlet Runner beans perennials in CA? I use the wooden craft popsicle sticks from DollarTree as plant markers. Biodegradable!
I love creative uses for things that would otherwise wind up in the trash. Great ideas! Especially love the egg carton for seed starting!
Food is so expensive now. A small plant can make a fortune. I bought a fruit tree because they grow good here and each fruit is like a 2$ bill growing on that little dwarf tree. Same with herbs. And everything.
