Is this a Terrarium?


Hi,

I’m new!

I’ve bought this off eBay for my wife for Xmas – it was labelled a Terrarium by the seller.

On arrival I was surprised that it’s about a third open to the elements (I’ve market the open sections)

Is it actually a Terrarium of have I been had?

    A terrarium could be anything there’s even terrariums with cactus some don’t like as much humidity so yes this is a terrarium but you and your wife should do some research to find something that likes air flow! And the humidity will still stay trapped in to a certain extent. Good luck! I think this would make a super cute terrarium

    Basically any container can be a terrarium , and so it is potentially a terrarium, just not an enclosed one (evidently :P), will require your wife to water it more often is all

    i would assume it was originally a lamp or something, with that hook for hanging (the base dont look particularly thick so i am nore sure if you could hang it as a terrarium)
