Looks like Lichen to me. Its a fungus but unlike most fungi it doesn’t grow into the dirt or wood, but rather it grows on the outside of hard surfaces and farms algae within its body as sustenance. Shouldn’t be harmful to you or your windowpane, but i would check to make sure there’s not water damage underneath. Lichen are super drought tolerant but it is getting enough moisture there to grow.

  3. If you have condensation between your dual pane windows, the seal has been broken. If you are renting, talk to your landlord. If you’re the homeowner, it may need to be replaced.

Lichens of various species. Honestly kinda cool, it’s like having your own little no-maintenance terrarium

Looks like lichen, the stuff that grows on trees and rocks.

    There’s a fungus among us.

    – the window sill, probably

It means you have clean air and water! Because lichen are ecological indicators. They won’t grow if air and water quality is bad. That’s why on roofs they don’t grow even if water touches metals like zinc.

  8. Looks like an alien planet landscape pic from like an old book
