||| FROM PERRI GIBBONS for ORCAS ISLAND GARDEN CLUB |||
Please join the Orcas Island Garden Club on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at the Orcas Center when we welcome Kimberly Wilder of Botanical Bar and Gemma Glasser of Primavera, as they guide us through the hidden meanings and symbolism embedded in floral gifts and jewelry of the 19th century.

Kimberly and Gemma will introduce us to the secret messages conveyed through Victorian bouquets. In a time when emotions were often expressed indirectly, flowers served as coded expressions of affection, admiration, or even sorrow.
Kimberly comes from two generations of flower farmers in Upstate New York and along with her husband Kelly, operates a small but mighty flower farm and floral design studio here on Orcas specializing in unique and heirloom flower varieties.
Gemma is a third-generation antique dealer, artist and designer. She is also a licensed gemologist specializing in antique jewelry and will share and will share a curated selection of jewels focusing on florals.
Join us for a traditional tea at 9:30 AM just before the program. For a link to the live Zoom presentation go to the Orcas Island Garden Club website and click the link below the list of presentations. The presentation will be recorded and available to view for four weeks after it is posted. To watch the recorded presentation, go to the link ‘recorded presentations’ under ‘events’ on the club website. Garden club presentations are free and open to the public.
