Satwinder Sandhu, who works at Aviva’s Eastleigh office, began cultivating the garden as a personal project during breaks, transforming the space into a colourful sanctuary for bees and pollinators.
When Aviva relocated, Mr Sandhu took cuttings and collected seeds to preserve the garden’s legacy.

Mr Sandhu said: “I never imagined the garden would have such a lasting impact.
“It started as something small to brighten our working environment, but knowing the plants are thriving in people’s homes and in the community is incredibly rewarding.
“It’s proof that even small actions can grow into something much bigger.”
More than 100 colleagues and community members have since benefited from the project, with plants now growing in homes across the region.
Some have even been used in a primary school pollination patch, helping to introduce pupils to the importance of sustainability.
