I'm not an expert, so I'm posting here. Some googling and visual differences of longilobas (not variegated) is leading me to believe that 5/5 leaves (both full white leaves, gone now) not presenting a typically smooth leaf shape could constitute a mutation.
- Is a "pink back" even real? Only pink on the back so far was on the white leaves. Was told it develops more later in life. (Sold to me as such at plantcon NYC)
- Are these wonky leaf shapes common in immature longilobas or could this be something special? It's a little hard to tell, but the large sinus on the largest leaf is not symmetrical in size
- Very sure that pests are not the cause of this, as I know a lot of mutated leaves are caused by pest damage
If this isn't anything special, then enjoy the plant! She's one of my favorites! 😀
