Attempted this over summer when I spent time in China. The concept is just water pumped from bottom right corner to the top and trickles down two streams, there is also a mist maker built in for display. There was a lot of mistakes in constructing the base/background, one major error is that the hydrophobic sheets caused water build up and water logging in the soil. So I redirected water volume in the stream and stabbed lots of holes to allow more drainage. It’s stocked with some harlequin rasboras and they seem to be doing good right now. As the creator I know it’s a bunch of junk behind the covers but I still enjoyed looking at the tank throughly. I may give an update next year when/if I return.

Ooh really good plant selection and I love the way you utilized the space. Please update when it’s grown in a bit. I really think you should add some hydrocotyle tripartita. It grows shockingly well in my paludarium, and adds some much needed “spiller” effect to the look. It’s super cheap to buy and it grows super fast.
looks nice, but you got a bit carried away planting, huh😏
