Anyone ever accidentally tore off a leaf of their Welwitschia? I did…. Poking around accidentally. It tore off rather easily right from the growth point, transverse to the leaf axis, and I am hoping that I didn’t injure the meristem… is this one doomed? I just peeled the rest of the leaf off from the attached portion to save what leaf I could.
