I don’t like recommending garden tools unless I’ve really put them through the wringer, which is why whenever people ask me what actually works and will make their work easier I can recommend this set. The cultivator, hori hori and garden scoop get used on a daily basis at the beginning and end of each season, and for good reason. The cultivator helps me to mix in fertilizer, compost and biochar, while the garden scoop helps me portion things out and transfer without spilling amendments. The hori hori is wonderful for any precise digging or cutting, and with all 3 I can get just about any task done. Get yourself setup for success and healthy growing this season. #gardentools #gardeningessentials #gardeningtools #barebones #barebonesliving

  1. Comment on the hori hori knife! I have one, and while it is very good quality, it is too big for my hands. The grip is just too wide. If you’re a man, I’m sure it’s fine. However, as a woman with smaller hands, it’s cumbersome and a bit uncomfortable to use. I still do use it as I don’t have the budget to replace it, but I wish I had gotten one with a smaller handle. I would certainly use it more if it was more comfortable to hold.

  2. you know its shit when you get a sheath to your flattened garden shovel and thats a feature
