I found this seed near the swimming pool. It was a bit husky and small indeed. Could you identify it, and provide the scientific name and common name for this seed?

Cardomum. If you can open it, it has small black seeds and is fragrant. An expensive herb. The seeds are powdered and used in sweet dishes. Or the whole pods are used in Asian rice dishes. People chew it or eat for fresh breath.

Areca palm seed maybe?
It does look like some palm fruit.
Or it grows more swimming pools
