Hi all! I bought my terrarium today (sorry if this is a faux pas, I had no idea where to start on my own – all of your builds are so beautiful!) and I love it! Supposedly it should be watered every 3 months and was last watered on Nov 10. The soil seems a bit dry but also not sure I can trust my own judgement on the matter – I’ve always been quite bad with plants! Should I just let it be? TIA!

Do you see any condensation on the glass? Droplets of water, small amounts of mist etc. If you do, then hold off on watering for a little while, because the water will be cycled around the terrarium.
Also, if you’re feeling too anxious and don’t trust your judgement, you can take a bright, clear photo of the soil and I can tell you if it looks like it needs a water or not.
