  1. Lawn one day, beautiful high-dollar raised bed garden the next. Next year, weed patch. Five years, lawn again – one tomato in container on patio.

  2. Actually I would say it's completely the other way, the rookies are the ones that want big paths and small garden beds. Experience gardeners don't care if their pathways are nice and wide, they just want more garden space.

  3. Your garden is not the only 'right way' and doesn't make other gardeners ametures.

I plant in the ground, and some would argue that is the most mastered gardening measure. We make our soil better every year and use our natural soil instead of buying loads of compost and spending money on building beds that have to be refilled.

I use my whole yards as a bed and put what I can where I can. Been doing this for years and growing way more food than these smaller gardens do.

  4. I'm going on my 3rd year of gardening and I have been using totes for raised beds and vinyl raised beds and the regular ground and yes it's a hit and miss but I have been able to get some veggies from it.! I'm by far rich.!

  5. Rookie here! 😂😂 First year gardening properly and to be honest ill probs do it for a few more years like this as i want abundance over comfort. Haha. I do love your designas though so mayby in a few years…

  6. Yikes … not a hot take … way too general to assume that. There are many reasons why people might not garden your so-called perfect way.
